Frontman of the popular nu metal band, Korn, Jonathan Davis, confirmed that he is releasing a solo album in 2018. He jumped on Facebook live to confirm this album was in the works has been a 10 year long process.
Davis' solo album was supposed to be under with the band Jonathan Davis and the Simply Fucking Amazings, but after their and Korn's guitarist, Shane Gibson, in 2014 Davis decided to release the album under his own name. In the Facebook livestream Davis said, "I'm finishing my record finally, It's been… I started it in 2008, so I guess it'll be 10 years of work. It's the J.D.S.F.A. [Jonathan Davis and the Simply Fucking Amazings] record, but J.D. S.F.A. is no longer. Unfortunately, since Shane's passed, that band's done and it can't be recreated. So this is J.D. right now … I'm really excited. I've been working on these songs for 10 years, and it's turned out amazing. So there'll be a record coming out next year. I just shot videos yesterday for a couple of songs, and the tour will be next year." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Are you excited to hear Jonathan Davis' solo record?
