Concert Reviews
Tuesday night, I headed down to Seattle to go to the Last Young Renegade Tour which at my particular date the bands playing were The Wrecks, Waterparks, SWMRS, and of course All Time Low. The concert went extremely smooth I made in time for doors and managed to get barricade for the show which was honestly surprised me. It was overall a great and entertaining show and was truly a night to remember. The WrecksThe band the Wrecks opened up the show and I was pleasantly surprised with how fun and energetic this band was. The vocalist of the band was crowd surfing running through crowd and climbing on things, aside from the Wrecks are extremely talented. They have a fun alternative rock sound which they did a great job of hyping up the crowd for the other bands who were about go. This is definitely a band that deserves more attention so don't sleep on them. WaterparksWaterparks was the second band to go on after the the Wrecks. They are a pop punk band that tends to be on the poppier side. They were good but I wasn't into them as much as I was into the Wrecks or SWMRS. They weren't necessarily a bad live band they were just for me. Overall, they did play well live and had lot's of energy but they aren't a band I see myself listening to much in the future. SWMRSSWMRS was the band on before All Time Low. I really did enjoy them a lot and thought they did bring a a grittier punk rock vibe. I thought they had a really nice energy right before All Time Low. They had awesome crowd participation and people seemed to really enjoy there and so did I. They have a different kind of style that I think that people would like. (Disclaimer: SWMRS aren't playing every date, so I cannot speak on behalf of Night Riots) All Time LowTime for the headliners, All Time Low did such a great they sound just as good--no possibly even better than there studio releases. They managed to play a vast majority of my favorite songs by them everything from "Guts," to "Weightless" to "Cinderblock Garden." Since this is the Last Young Renegades Tour they also played songs from their most recent album Last Young Renegade. All Time Low opened with "Last Young Renegade" and ended of course with "Dear Maria, Count Me In." All Time Low have an insane live show and I would definitely recommend you all to check them out this tour or their next!
